Todas las evaluaciones del ciclo de vida de SIG cumplen las normas ISO, son realizadas por el Instituto de Investigación Energética y Medioambiental (IFEU) y revisadas críticamente por un panel independiente. Los revisores examinan todos los factores relacionados con la ecología que surgen durante el ciclo de vida del cartón, desde las materias primas que utiliza hasta los procesos de fabricación y la producción de los manguitos acabados.
