Austria: Green Packaging Star Award for SIG Terra Alu-free packaging solution
SIG has won the coveted Green Packaging Star Award for its pioneering SIG Terra MidiBloc Alu-free packaging solution. SIG Terra Alu-free is the world’s first aluminum-free packaging material for aseptic carton packs. The annual Austrian Green Packaging Star Award has been recognizing the most sustainable packaging innovations for nearly 20 years.

SIG appoints Fabio Grazioli as Chief Supply Chain Officer
SIG today announces the appointment of Fabio Grazioli to the Group Executive Board as Chief Supply Chain Officer (“CSO”) effective 15 November 2024. Fabio joins from Haier Group, the global market leader in home appliances and consumer electronics, where he most recently served as Vice President Supply Chain, Procurement, E2E Cost Leadership and CTO - EMEA.

SIG, Sambu Group and YBDA inaugurate eco building for the community in Pulau Burung
SIG, Sambu Group and YBDA inaugurated an eco building located in Pulau Burung, Riau, where one of Sambu Group’s plantations, PT Riau Sakti United Plantations (RSUP), is located. The eco building was built using building blocks made of recycled plastic. This initiative is a reflection of SIG, Sambu Group and YBDA commitment to fostering sustainable development and making a positive impact on local communities.
