SIG Terra Forest-based polymers**
Linked to up to 95% forest-based renewable materials
Meet the demand for sustainable packaging for all filled goods by combing any standard SIG standard packaging material with polymers linked to forest-based renewable materials
using the ISCC mass balance approach. It reduces the already low carbon footprint of SIG standard packaging material by up to -41%*.

Responsibly sourced raw materials
All three key raw materials come from certified responsible sources via mass-balance systems. The paperboard is from FSC™-certified (FSC™ trademark licence code: FSC™ C020428) forests and other controlled sources; the polymers are linked to ISCC PLUS certified forest-based renewable materials, and the ultra-thin layer of aluminum is covered by Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) certification.
ISCC PLUS certified forest-based polymers
The polymers used for the closure and the lamination of the paperboard are linked to wood residues from paper-making through a mass-balance system, independently certified by ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification).
