SIG Group has secured a place in the prestigious S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025, reaffirming its position as one of the world’s leading companies in sustainable business practices. This recognition underscores SIG’s ongoing commitment to sustainability across its supply chain as well as transparent communication of its progress.
The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook recognizes the top-performing companies in sustainability practices worldwide, across a wide range of industry-specific economic, environmental, and social criteria. To be included, companies must rank in the top 15% of their industry in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). For the 2025 edition, only 780 companies from 7,690 assessed across 62 industries met these stringent criteria.
“Being recognized once again in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices,” said Stefan Dobrev, Vice President of Corporate Development & Sustainability at SIG. “This external validation reinforces our dedication to transparent progress and continuous improvement across our supply chain. Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, guiding us as we develop regenerative solutions to create lasting change. Sustainable innovation and a responsible culture are central to this.”
SIG’s sustainability strategy revolves around its journey to create “packaging for better” – a commitment to creating regenerative packaging solutions that give more to people and the planet than they take.
Industry-wide recognition for ESG excellence
SIG’s inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025 adds to its growing list of international recognitions. The company holds an AAA ESG rating from MSCI, a 10.5 (low risk) score from Sustainalytics, a Platinum CSR rating from EcoVadis, was included in two Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), and is featured in the FTSE4Good Index.
