This groundbreaking development, showcased at Gulfood Manufacturing 2024 in Dubai, represents a major breakthrough in the beverage industry, allowing probiotics to be incorporated into shelf-stable drinks in aseptic cartons for the first time.

Now, with the debut presentation of SIG Neo Slimline 15 Aseptic at Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai, taking place from November 5-7, SIG launches another cutting-edge filling machine for multi-serve aseptic carton packs, capable of filling up to 15,000 SIG SlimlineBloc packs per hour – a 25% increase in output compared to SIG’s standard filling machines for family-sized formats.

SIG announced today that they have been formally recognized by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) for meeting the highest criteria for recyclability according to the APR Design® Guide for Plastics Recyclability for the SIG Terra RecShield D bag-in-box package for beverages such as post-mix syrup.

SIG today announces the appointment of Fabio Grazioli to the Group Executive Board as Chief Supply Chain Officer (“CSO”) effective 15 November 2024. Fabio joins from Haier Group, the global market leader in home appliances and consumer electronics, where he most recently served as Vice President Supply Chain, Procurement, E2E Cost Leadership and CTO - EMEA.

In partnership with WWF Switzerland and WWF Malaysia, SIG has launched a three and half-year forest landscape project in Malaysia’s Ulu Muda Forest Complex through WWF’s Forests Forward program.
