Digitization

In the course of digitalization, we have set ourselves the goal of breaking through the boundaries of traditional manufacturing and defining new standards through advanced technologies and automation. This includes, for example:

Using robots for automation

One of our milling machining centers is currently equipped with a robot that automates the work processes. Thanks to this technology, a spindle running time is achieved in just 8 months that was previously achieved after 12 to 14 months. There are plans to use further robots on the machines, as well as the use of so-called cobots, which can assist our skilled workers or take over monotonous tasks.

Integration of an ERP system as a digital manufacturing solution for the production area

The system serves as digital support to streamline processes and save time. It performs tasks such as precisely monitoring machine performance by digitally recording machine running and downtimes, as well as supporting machine maintenance by keeping logs, providing work instructions and managing measuring equipment and operating materials. An integrated roadmap provides employees with an insight into daily tasks, documentation management and work scheduling. Further interfaces to existing ERP systems and machines are planned for the future.
