To cap off another great year at SIG, we’ve earned the accolade of ‘Digital Innovator’ for our pioneering partnership with GE Digital

As 2018 draws to a close, SIG can look back on another eventful and successful year – particularly when it comes to our Smart Factory platform. We’ve expanded our portfolio with a number of new and innovative digital solutions. As a testament to this offering, SIG has just been announced a winner in the 2018 Digital Innovator Awards. The annual awards are held by GE Digital and recognise customers who are driving innovation forward in the Industrial Internet; companies that ‘exemplify the possibilities of digital transformation’. SIG won in the Customer Impact category for its work in pioneering Predix Asset Performance and Predix ServiceMax within the food and beverage industry. These solutions are designed to monitor SIG filling line equipment for over 400 customer factories worldwide, and will enable our field technicians to optimise machine maintenance and problem-solving tasks.
